Only half of Facebook employees believe in a positive future
Facebook employees have changed their attitude to the company in comparison with last year, due to a list of scandals. The Wall Street Journal shared this information, according to their own sources.
According to the Facebook survey among 29 thousand workers. As it turned out that only half of the employees believe in a positive company`s future. Such a result is less than last year`s by 32% when it was nearly 84%. About 53% of the staff are sure that social networking service company makes the world a better place and it`s less by 19% than a year before.
It is noteworthy that 70% of the people in this organization are proud of their work against 87% in 2017. But some rates are still the same, for example, 81% of workforce saw an important role of Facebook for humanity. Employees have confidence in a significant mission of their work. They believed in the opportunity to make people closer to each other using the social network.
Facebook staff are going to work in the IT company for 3,9 years more, on average, this rate is less than was in 2017 – 4,3 years. Near 12% of the workforce are planning to quit in one year. According to September research, approximately 33,6 thousand people have worked in the organization which is more by 45% than a year before.
The current year is very hard for Facebook due to the list of scandals which lasted from August to November. That`s why company`s stocks dropped more than by 35%, commended the Wall Street Journal publication.
