The demarch against Huawei could negatively affect the development of the 5G communications standard. According to the company's representatives, Huawei has more patents related to 5G than all American companies taken together. The company owns more than 16,000 patents in the 5G industry, and Huawei ranked first in the respective 20% market share. All companies in the US that have 5G patents account for 15% of this ranking.
